After an interview session, the next thing is usually for the recruiter to review your performance and get in touch with you. It can be really overwhelming or downcasting to respond to such an email. Here are samples to ease the burden.

A response to a rejection email after an interview should be brief and professional, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to interview and maintaining a positive relationship with the company.

Suggested Subject: Thank You for the Opportunity

Thank you for letting me know of your decision in time. I appreciate the opportunity to interview for the position of assistant director at Wonder Production Company. I enjoyed learning about your company and its numerous projects.
