Emails are a very effective and convenient way to schedule and confirm appointments. It does not intrude into your time or the receiver’s time, like phone calls, and sending a confirmation reply allows both you and the other party to verify that you have accurate details about upcoming meetings, communicate any changes, and coordinate your schedules.
