Sickness, as of today, is an unforeseen event. It comes when it most likely chooses to come. And it’s only right that when it strikes, you don’t get too busy with work to overlook it. Requesting a sick leave can help you take adequate care of yourself. Here are samples to get a quick sick leave approved.

Greetings, Ms. Katrina Petrova,

My name is John Gilbert, and I am employed as the Chief Security Officer in the Security Department. For health reasons, I won’t be able to report to work beginning today (15/10/2021). I’m running a fever, and it may be something infectious. My doctor has recommended that I take three days off from work and get home therapy.

I remark that I have a total of seven sick days remaining for the year.

I have included a medical certificate attesting to my condition and recommending that I follow the doctor’s advice.

Thank you for allowing me to take these sick days, and please let me know if you need any other information.

Sincerely,

John Gilbert
